This charming tea towel designed by Gabrielle Schoenenberger is sure to conjure up the coast in its depiction of the wonderfully popular Puffin.
The tea towel features a hand-drawn print inspired by the puffins Gabrielle saw at Bass Rock, an island in the outer part of the Firth of Forth to the east of Scotland.
Did you see the little crab sitting on the rock?
A love of textiles runs through the generations of Gabrielle's family, with all four of her great grandfathers having worked in or run textile mills in the UK.
She feels it's important for her to carry on this family tradition by utilising and encouraging the skills and craftsmanship still present in the UK today.
Tucked away in her studio in Edinburgh, Gabrielle designs her hand-drawn products which are subsequently printed and manufactured by a family run company in the North of England.
The Puffin tea towel design is printed onto Wexford Linen which is a 50% Linen, 50% Cotton mix.
Due to the natural fibre content of the fabric, there can be slight variations in the prints which make every product individual.
