This shell with its elaborate design of orange squares is a must for any collection.

Mitre shells belong to a large group of several hundred species which are split into numerous genders to account for both animal and shell variations.

They enjoy worldwide distribution with this species common to the Indo Pacific.

Size: approx 12-14 cm long   (5 - 6 inches)
