Don’t be put off by the name.
The name Frog Shell is derived from the knobbly sculpture of most shell species, which resembles the warty skin of frogs. The interior of the shell has a delicate pale apricot colouring.
The species mostly live in warm shallow water, under rocks or in corals, feeding on marine worms.
This beautiful shell is quite abundant and comes from the South Pacific.
Size: approx 19-21 cm long (7.5-8")
