The Australian Trumpet Shell (Syrinx aruanus).
The largest known gastropod shell in existence, measuring up to 60cm. It occurs in the warm waters off the tip of Northern Australia and has been used in the past by natives for ceremonial and domestic purposes. With its delicate peach-orange colour, this large specimen is a stunning addition to any collection.
