Description
This evocative photo art canvas of waves crashing into groynes along the south east coast is by fine art photographer Clive Sawyer.
At one time groynes were commonly placed along coastal areas to contain the shoreline and used as natural defences against erosion, but they’re costly to maintain as this picture shows, these ones have worn over the years with the constant ebb and flow of the tide.

With an established career as a travel and location fine art photographer, Clive has travelled the globe capturing images in some of the world’s most beautiful locations.
He has worked in more than 55 countries and his photographic work has been extensively published in all forms of the media, including over 100 travel book titles where he was the main contributor.
Increasingly interested in the world of fine art photography, he opened his own gallery in 2008 in Rye, East Sussex.
Each image is printed onto the highest quality art canvas and is stretched over a solid wooden frame and comes ready to hang.
The printing process uses the finest materials available; the inks used ensure the print will not fade for many years and have been tested to last 150 + years.
