Seaside Driftwood Mirror

Reminiscent of faded beach huts along the seaside, this mirror has been made from a selection of driftwood finds.

A scrubbed back white wash has been applied to the frame enhancing its weather worn appearance.

Handmade by cabinet maker Richard Ward from driftwood and reclaimed materials collected along the beaches of the south coast.

The actions of the sea impart a special character to driftwood and it’s this grain, texture and colour that give Richard the inspiration for his creative and functional pieces
