Queen Helmet Shell - large

A striking shell if only by size alone. Decorated with a pale almost lace like exterior following through to pink and apricot colours on the inside.

Queen Helmet shells are a large family of very solid, often thickened shells found in shallow tropical seas on sand where they enjoy feeding on sea urchins.
