Polished Corrugata Abalone
Hints of red, pink and blue decorate the attractive surface of the corrugate abalone shell.
As with many species of abalone this shell reveals an amazing array of glistening colours now the outer layers have been removed and polished.

The corrugata (Haliotis Corrugata) occupies a one piece shell and belongs to the large abalone family numbering in excess of 100 species. Most are edible rock dwelling shells found in both shallow and deeper waters.
Common in waters stretching from California to Mexico.
Size: approx 12-14cm long
