This charming hand painted canvas is simply entitled Sandy Beach Huts and is part of the La Mer series by the artist Liz Shedden.
The canvas uses thick buttery paint in its depiction of beach huts and features a variety of appropriate seasidey words written in French script over a sandy coloured background.

Being pushed in her pram along the beach listening to the tinkling sounds of masts and sails is one of Liz’s’ earliest memories of growing up in Whitstable by the sea.
These memories are reflected in many of her ‘windy‘ seascapes and semi abstract canvases, where the sounds of boats in the harbour or moored along the shore are injected with sparkling wind and weather.
Liz has exhibited in many group and solo shows in Kent and here are some lovely comments from collectors:
contrast...vibrant but calming...inspiring and ambient...bright, light, singing...beautiful...tranquil paintings.
This work has been painted in acrylic on canvas and is ready to hang.
