Idioms Tea Towel

This quirky and rather gorgeous tea towel has lots of idioms about eating, drinking and food.

The design by Charlotte Fleming was originally hand written with a dip pen giving it a wonderfully free flowing look.

Beautifully screen printed on to 100% white cotton the design gives an amusing read.

An idiom as we're sure you know, is a group of words having a meaning that cannot be readily understood from the actual words used.

For example "it was raining cats and dogs" means "to rain very heavily" and "over the moon" means "extremely happy," but in both cases you would have a hard time understanding what was said if you didn’t already know the idiom.

Based close to the sea Charlottes wonderful creations are inspired by the sea and the village of Budleigh Salterton where she lives.
