Handmade by cabinet maker Richard Ward, the washstand features an abundance of driftwood detailing including the top, drawers and doors.
Housed within a distressed and painted re-claimed wood carcase the doors fasten with a simple catch. The perfect addition for any coastal inspired home.
Richard uses driftwood and reclaimed materials collected from the beaches along the south coast to make his creative and functional pieces.
Inspiration for his work comes directly from the grain, colour and texture of the materials themselves; the action of the sea imparts a special character to driftwood and adds a quality with wide appeal.
