Driftwood Sideboard Cupboard

This large spacious driftwood sideboard has a simple rustic design and weather worn appearance and will find favour in many homes looking to add a touch of coastal character.

Handmade by cabinet maker Richard Ward, the cupboard features driftwood plank doors and feet and is housed within a lightly distressed and painted re-claimed pine carcase.

The doors fasten with a simple catch and inside there is one internal shelf. The perfect addition for any coastal inspired home.

Richard uses driftwood and reclaimed materials collected from the beaches along the south coast to make his creative and functional pieces. 

Inspiration for his work comes directly from the grain, colour and texture of the materials themselves; the action of the sea imparts a special character to driftwood and adds a quality with wide appeal.
