The Chiragra Spider Conch is a well known shell with flaring lips and long projecting spines.

The shell belongs to a large group of Conch shells known as the Strombiadae and like many spider conchs; the Chiragra has a thick shell with finger like projections extending outward.
Found in shallow waters this seashell is common to Indo Pacific waters.
