The dried sea fan looks quite fragile but is actually quite robust and is bendy rather than brittle.
Sea fans are found in the shallow waters of all oceans, but they are especially abundant along the Atlantic coasts of Florida, Bermuda, and the West Indies.
As a natural item the size and shape of all sea fans will differ. The structure can vary from dense to loose and the shape from wild to formal but each will bring its own unique character and beauty.
