Description
Full of British eccentricity this piece entitled ‘Billy’ by Tracy McKenna was originally painted upon quirky little phrases taken from newspapers.
I wanted to get across our love of fish and chips at the seaside whilst having a good read of the tabloids sitting on the beach.

Born in Cyprus in 1971, Tracy grew up in a northern mill town on the edge of the Pennines. She studied Art and Design at Nelson and Colne College and then moved on to the Arts University at Bournemouth where she graduated with a BA (Hons) and a High Commendation from the RSA. Since then she has qualified as a teacher of Art and Design.
Working from her small bright home studio, the Wirral Peninsular is only minutes away should she ever get stuck for inspiration.
At this time, the work is available as an Original Painting or as a Limited Edition Print, details below:
Original Painting - 40 x 40cm mounted and framed with a profile that raises the glass away from the work like a museum specimen case. Comes with certificate of authenticity.
Limited Edition Prints - 30 x 30 cm prints come mounted with a corrugated card back in cellophane wrap with certificate of authenticity.
