Ammonite Plaque

The ammonite has been carefully modelled and hand crafted from only the best quality plaster which is very dense and chip resistant and hangs upon a plaited hemp string. 

Depending on the time and the shifting patterns of the sun, the piece is cast in light and shadow throughout the day creating and highlighting different detail.

Inspiration for this design is never far away as the stunning coastline in Dorset has rocks recording 185 million years of the Earth's history. 

Lyme Regis in particular is famous worldwide for the abundant and well preserved ammonite fossils that are found eroded from the local cliffs. 

Natasha’s style has a simple freshness with wide appeal. Growing up in Bournemouth with white sandy beaches right on her doorstep it has never left her short of inspiration for her designs. 

She loves nothing more than spending sunny days collecting bits and bobs long the Dorset coastline for her creations.
