Heading off to the beach, even at this time of year, with a fresh breeze off the sea, can be so exhilarating.  Most of us have very fond memories associated with the sea, it probably all starts with buckets and spades as kids, brisk walks with friends and family, or maybe even fossil hunting.

With this in mind we decided to open a shop to recall those happy times and maybe create new ones.

buy the sea is located in the heart of Somerset within the town centre of Yeovil, and near the church of St Johns, which is surrounded by grass known locally as "the beach".

As a small company, we pride ourselves on the friendly, personal service for which we have become known and hope you find something of interest among the many seaside and nautical gifts we have to offer.

Making a purchase online could not be easier. Just browse our store, and click on the “add to cart” button for any items that you wish to buy, and they will be placed into your shopping basket. You will then be able to modify the order quantities. After you have finished your selection, click the “Checkout” button for payment options. Nearly all the products within our online store, can also be viewed and purchased at our shop in Yeovil, but it is advisable to telephone first to check availability if you are making a long journey.

Our shop is open between 9.30am and 5 pm. Monday to Saturday.
